Now that you know when these monstrosities appear, make sure to check out our Destiny 2 archives and the Altar of Sorrows Weapon Rotation Schedule.
Exodus Garden 2A and Veles Labyrinth are the Cosmodrome Lost Sectors you'll encounter in Destiny 2.
You can start exploring them all as soon as you complete the first Beyond Light campaign mission, unlocking the Cosmodrome as a Patrol space.
Finding both Cosmodrome Lost Sector locations will undoubtedly come in useful for certain questlines and bounties, so it's worth learning where they are for future use.
Additionally, once you have completed these once and have reached the soft level cap, check the destination map to see if a Legend or Master difficulty version is available. Completing these solo will give you a chance of a Beyond Light Exotic armour piece drop.
On this page:
Unlike Europa Lost Sectors Perdition, Bunker E15 and Concealed Void, these are at a Power level that's achievable as soon as you start the expansion - so feel free to head over and take a look right away.
Destiny 2 Exodus Garden 2A location
Exodus Garden 2A is found within in The Divide in the Cosmodrome, to the west.
Standing in the middle of the location - where the Walker will show up on a regular basis - look east towards where a freeway above is broken in two.
From here, leap on the building straight ahead, and look north west. You'll see a large, round silo in the corner.
You'll want to get on top of this silo. Depending on your class choice you might be able to jump up there, otherwise use the ledge to the right to help you along.
Once on top of the silo, look north-west again. You'll now see a broken wall with the Lost Sector symbol on the outside.
Jump across and head inside the wall. Now drop down and go through the crack in the large doors ahead, through the cylindrical structure.
Follow the linear route round until you arrive at the Exodus Garden 2A Lost Sector location.
Year 4 has begun! Learn about new Beyond Light Exotics, including post-campaign quests for Salvation's Grip, The Lament, Hawkmoon and Born in Darkness, plus how to reach the new Destiny 2 max level cap and how sunsetting works. There are a couple of new and returning areas in the game - here's how to track down Perdition, Bunker E15 and Concealed Void on Europa and Exodus Garden 2A and Veles Labyrinth on the Cosmodrome - and new collectables to find in the form of Entropic Shards. Looking ahead beyond this new expansion, we explain all Destiny 2 PS5 and Xbox Series upgrade details, as well as Destiny 2 crossplay and transmog. We also have an explainer on Destiny 2 cross save support.
Destiny 2 Veles Labyrinth location
Veles Labyrinth is within the Forgotten Shore in the Cosmodrome, in the south of the location.
This area has several beached and rusted ships littered throughout. You need to head to the south-most ship.
If you look at the north-side of this last boat, you'll see the telltale Lost Sector logo on the side, showing you are in the right place.
From here, leap onto the boat itself. If you look just above where the logo is, on the deck of the ship, is an open hatch.
Drop down inside. It's pretty dark here, but if you hug the right wall, it'll open up to a cavern.
Follow the linear route round until you emerge at the Veles Labyrinth Lost Sector location - and plenty of Hive waiting for you.
Destiny 2 Map List
There are other Lost Sectors - Perdition, Bunker E15 and Concealed Void - also introduced in Beyond Light as part of Europa. Be warned - they have a much higher Power level requirement, so only explore them when you're ready!
